The relationship with enjoying something and wanting to do it.
You like listening to music. Does it mean you want or need to play music? Can you be supremely skilled at listening and fail at performing? Can you try and be frustrated and fail? Is a song locked into you?
You read and read and read. What happens if you never write? If you were just given books through a door, never any paper to write and only taught to read (the invisible hands behind the door tell you writing is a rarefied sacred act, god language and the world is static with all works that would ever be produced having already been produced), would you produce writing? Would you make something else? Slice up the books and write with them in secret rel:
Spliced Book - Alternative Reading Methods.
Reading, listening are also doing. They are also productive. It is a more inward production. But I create a song and it is shared (produces more listeners). What is my task as a listener for sharing? Can a listener develop a more full or complete listening compared to a player only? Will a maximized listening routine always produce sound?
You love music, you decide to create music, you hate music.
Music and compression. You spend hours and days on a few minutes. Five hours of effort doesn’t produce five hours of music. Five hours of writing produces much less text.
