Write a daily journal with two parts. One part is documentation of your day in reality. The second page will be a daily chronicle of some place that is completely imaginary, but with its own cohesive, daily narrative. - For example, in the real world you take the Metro North line to towns on the Hudson. In the imaginary world you document the repair of a water wheel at the watermill that is at the outskirts of your village. - Completely fantastical elements (such as finding out the mill damage was the result of small field imps) could be added, but are best used with discretion.
