The sunset was so vivid. The trees are all bare now. As I drove this mass of leafless trees was so dark, and complete. It seemed like the horizon itself had risen and was consuming the sky.
I’m not writing this to be poetic. It actually gave me a pause, thinking that night had come unevenly, spreading from below and creeping into the sky.
